2. Set up a stop order at your bank
This
is a great option if you do not have access to internet banking. This
will require some initial admin in that you have to go into your bank
to set it up, but will remove the hassle of having to either make
monthly cash contributions via the giving envelopes or at the bank. Use
the same bank details as above.
3. Place cash in a giving envelope
Tick which fund you would like the contribution to be transferred into.
You can collect an envelope from the involvement desk.
Smart giving
1 JOHN 3:17-18
‘If
anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no
pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us
not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.’
JAMES 2:15-17
Suppose
a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you
says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does
nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way,
faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
GALATIANS 5:13-14
13You,
my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to
indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. 14 The
entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as
yourself."
