The Common Ground of the future is one
church consisting of several expressions each meeting in a different location. At
the moment there's Rondebosch and the Inner City. But soon there's coming a
third..
It’s in the South at The Range, which is on the mountain side of Spaanschemat Road in
Tokai/Constantia. The Range is a popular and beautiful wedding and conference
venue.
We will not be using the Stone Chapel
visible from the road, but rather the 550-seater open-sided Marquee (for
adults) and the 150-seater Log Cabin (for kids). Both overlook Vineyards and
mountains, without a building or tarred road in sight (imagine worshipping God
surrounded by that kind of vista?) Also included is a wonderful kids play
jungle-gym and picnic tables and green lawn in the shade of trees. Oh my
goodness, how exciting this all is.
We’re starting on the 18th
of April with a series called ‘Family Matters’. More about that later.
We’re anticipating
an explosive start with many people who don't normally go to church coming along. Be sure to invite
people to that launch.
