All congregations: Real-ationships
Life is all about relationships – whether it’s with friends or family, partners or parents, siblings or spouses, kids or colleagues. The quality of our life hinges on the strength of these bonds. And although all these connections are unique, there are ten ancient essentials that can be applied to them all - so that strained relationships can be made strong, and good ones made even better. For 5 Sundays, we are exploring these relationship essentials one by one.
The Real-ationships series continues this week in all congregations. Click the link below to view our small group video material.

There will be acoustic comedy with The Brothers Streep, indie rock with Irvine and Balkan beats with The Nomadic Orchestra, as well as a DJ, freebies and photo booths. All congregations: Papa Chris’ Saturday School
Do you have a way with numbers? Are you passionate about helping kids learn? Then this is a volunteer opportunity tailor-made for you. Papa Chris is a Common Grounder who runs extra Maths lessons for Grade 8 and 9 students at Litha Primary School in Gugulethu. He needs volunteers to assist students with the lesson while he teaches from the front. The next Saturday School will be on 5 March from 9am to 11am. For more info or to sign up, please email nathalie.koenig@commongood.org.za. And if numbers aren’t your strength but you’d still love to help kids learn, then don’t forget to sign up for our Literacy Programme looking in evening on Thurs, 10 March at 7pm in the Rondebosch guest lounge. Email nicole.robson@commongood.org.za for more info.

All congregations: Drug Support Workshop
If you are a parent who is struggling with a son or daughter who is being crippled by addiction, join us this Saturday 5 March for a Drug Support Workshop hosted by Celebrate Recovery. The aim of the workshop is to help people understand the need for long term recovery, and highlight the necessity for physiological healing to occur before true cognitive work can be done. By simply being a more informed parent, you can circumvent the want to extract your loved one out of recovery before the necessary foundational healing has been established.
If you or anyone you know might be interested, please join us at the Friend’s First House Conference Room in Rondebosch on this Saturday 5 March from 9am to 12pm. Email philipv@diamondproperties.co.za to sign up.

All congregations: New to Common Ground?
DNA
Should you decide you want to become more than a guest, but rather a family member of our community, our DNA course is your opportunity to spend time getting to know our history and our heart. It's also a good opportunity to get to know some of the leaders in the church and to ask questions before making a more solid commitment to our family.
The next DNA will take place at the end of this month on the 25 & 26 March.
To sign up or get more information, email sarahjane@commongroundchurch.co.za.
